Leslie Fern Jost

Leslie Fern Jost, 72, passed away peacefully in Okemos on Sunday, August 6, 2017. She was born April 28, 1945 in Muskegon, Michigan to John C. and Beulah F. Dykema. Leslie lived for many years in the Muskegon area before moving with her husband, Thomas Jost, to Lansing in 1974. She cared for many neighborhood children at her home daycare while her two daughters were growing up.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011, her parents, and her in-laws.

Leslie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Amy Jost and Leslie (Robert Jr.) Dilts; her grandsons, Thomas (Charity), Brandon, William, and Troy Dilts; her brother, David Dykema; and many extended family members.

According to her wishes, private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice or Old Newsboys.
