Leonard Leroy Templeton was born on April 1, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Hulon Leroy and Eron Vidlar (Clemons) Templeton and made his transition on June 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Wanda Jean Hodge, and brother Walter Edward Templeton.

Leonard loved fishing, putting together model cars and was an avid bowler. Words cannot express how he loved his family and the special trips to Tennessee! After his retirement from the Board of Water and Light he and his loving wife of 49 years Mildred traveled and enjoyed the role of being grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Mildred Louise (Johnson) Templeton, daughter Coze'tt Wallace and son Donnell Templeton. Six grandchildren Iman Harris, Raphael (Chantal) Downs, Marqell Austin, Nadja Templeton, Romeo Burrell, and Cozie Wallace. Great grandchildren Leilani Downs, and Mia Angles. Sisters, Linda Crutcher, and Donna Hill, brother Lewis Templeton, and a host of loving family and friends.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Tiffany Funeral Home 3232 West Saginaw, Lansing MI 48917. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 on Tuesday at the funeral home. To leave online condolences visit www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com.
