Leonard “Buss” Charles Taylor, age 87, of Lansing, MI, the son of Christopher Orland Taylor and Mary Esther Smith, passed away April 2nd at his home. Leonard gained his moniker long ago; named after Buster Brown, a practical joker that would slingshot windows, prank the neighbors and live a generally mischievous life with a devious grin and good natured attitude. He had a quiet courage, dignity, integrity and strength. Always eager to lend a hand, he volunteered at Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, Pennway Church of God, and would graciously snow blow all the neighbors drives in the winter. He retired from IBM in 1990 after 33 years. Leonard proudly served in the US Army for 7 years in the 43rd Infantry Division. The rendering of Military honors will be held at the Interment.
Preceding Leonard in death was his beloved wife Ardis, his daughter Nancy Green, and his siblings, Elmer Taylor, Judd Taylor, Fern Esch and Pete Taylor. Surviving are his son, Brian Wilbanks and daughter Michelle Taylor. Grandchildren; Stacie Bircham, Steven Green, Thomas Green, Sarah Green, Paul Green, Joshua Wilbanks and Amanda Wilbanks.
