Larry James Summers

Larry Summers, 67, passed away March 14, 2015 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. He was born January 17, 1948 in Jackson, Michigan, to Charles and Marian (Fernburg) Summers. He was an Army veteran who enjoyed fishing, making lures, archery, hunting and animals. He loved sweets and visiting with friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is lovingly remembered by his sons, Lonnie (Samantha) Summers and Christopher Summers; his significant other, Karen Reynolds; step-daughters, Jennifer (Daniel) Vanwasshenova and Ashleigh Reynolds; eleven grandchildren, Chelsea Lee, Brenden Weeks, Aaron Rogers, Rosemarie Summers, Nick Baker, Tesla Summers, Dalyn Summers, Zachary Summers, Marty Allen, Kailin Castagne, and Courtney Castagne; two great-grandchildren, Lucy and Skye Lee; sisters, Melanie (Thomas) Vasilion and Jeanette (Johann) DeYoung; and nephews, Garron (Amy) Vasilion, Craig Vasilion, Daniel (Stephanie) DeYoung and Bradley (Jessica) DeYoung.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 20 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, Michigan. Military Honors will be accorded at this time.
