I met Larry back in 2007 when he was looking for a home. We remained friend and did business together over the years.  He would stop at my office to visit me and we would talk and laugh up a storm! He would bring me jam and candy throughout the year, because that is who he was. He was a very kind, honest, loving, generous, man that would never hurt anyone!! He went above and beyond to help people in need. He was most generous with helping women in the homeless shelter, but didn't stop there! He helped anyone that needed it. He was a giver and enjoyed every minute of it.  Larry, I know you are now at peace and no longer living in fear. Bless your soul. 


He was a very kind friend and my mother's last living relative.  I am so sad I will never be able to see him again.  A generous, funny, kind person who will be missed by many.  When he travelled he stopped at shelters and donated things like chocolate and coffee.  He loved to help to those in need.  The world is diminished without him.

I met Larry when we were both volunteers at Next Door, a shelter
for battered women. We became friends and played many games of scrabble, went to a country music concert , a rodeo, and he was a dear friend. He moved to Lansing MI and I heard from him a few times but when I sent him a card  and did not receive a reply I always wondered why.
Rest in Peace Larry, you were a dear friend and a very kind person.

Larry was a outstanding individual of the highest integrity, extremely caring and responsible. This is shown by the devotion he showed to his mother and brother during their final years, and also his volunteer work.
He was a wonderful friend to me, for more than forty years, especially during my most challenging times.  He continued to visit me here in San Diego regularly, even after he moved back to Michigan.  We shared many adventures together and I smile remembering his vitality and enthusiasm for life.

I've known Larry my entire life, worried for him when he decided to disappear for a while, celebrated with him when he returned. 

I wish he could have found the peace and love that he sought among the living.
