Kathy Roxanne Nees (née Jones) was reunited with her husband on Saturday, March 19th. She was an avid lover of the Michigan Wolverines, her friends and family (especially her granddaughters whom she called the joys of her life) and antiques. Kathy spent her life looking for ways to try to help whomever she could in any capacity. She was a 1971 graduate of Waverly High School and enjoyed the work she was able to contribute to her high school reunions.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, William Jones and Marguerite Jones, her sister Karen “Suez” Jones and her husband Thomas Nees. She is survived by her step-mother Elaine K Jones, her sons David (Kelee) and Joseph (Leslie), her granddaughters, Jillian and Paige, and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews whom she treasured dearly.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held Friday, June 10th with a graveside service and luncheon to follow. Details for the luncheon will be shared at a later date.
