Our loving mother and grandmother, Kathleen “Kathy” Marie Little, 74, of Holt, Michigan went to be home with her Lord on Monday, September 2, 2019, at Story Point at Independence Village in Grand Ledge.
Kathy was born December 2, 1944, in Lansing, Michigan to Frederick and Rita Prochnow. She graduated from Resurrection High School in 1962. In 1964, she married Kermit “Kim” Little, Jr. They celebrated 53 years of marriage prior to his death on September 4, 2017. Kathy worked with her husband at the family business, Delta Embroidery, for many years. She later served as an administrative assistant to Pastor John Elieff at Mount Hope Church, serving the pastor and the congregation for 20 years before retiring. Kathy was a member of Mount Hope Church for over 32 years. She enjoyed taking walks with her husband and pet dog, Rocky, and spending summers at their cottage in Ludington, Michigan. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and, especially, her grandchildren.
Surviving are her four children Kevin L. Little of Lansing, Keith A. Vaquera-Little and his wife, Gloria, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Kelly A. Samuelson and her husband, Wade, of Centralia, Washington, and Kimberly Little of Lansing; eleven grandchildren Colton Wesley, Megan Anderson, and her husband, Sam, Madison Wesley, Britten Wesley, Isabella Wesley, Averie Wesley, Kylie Samuelson, Katherine Samuelson, Hallie Samuelson, Maizy Samuelson, and Julian Vaquera-Little; and many other family members and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Rita Prochnow, her husband Kermit “Kim” Little, Jr., and three granddaughters, Denison, Reagan, and Andie.
Visitation is from 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10th in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Graveside Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 4444 W. Grand River, Lansing with Pastor Kevin Berry and Pastor David Johnson officiating.
