Judith Ann Kulicamp, born on May 26, 1944, left this world on December 15, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. Married to the love of her life, Bob Kulicamp, for over 25 years, Judith's journey was marked by a profound dedication to education, service, and community.
A true educator at heart, Judith devoted over 40 years to shaping young minds within the Lansing public school district. Known as the "world's best teacher," her face would light up in the presence of children, leaving an indelible mark on generations of students who were fortunate enough to have her guidance.
Upon retirement, Judith and her beloved Bob embarked on a new chapter, co-founding the business "Cookie Creation and Gifts." Together, they crafted a sweet haven that reflected their shared passion for creativity and joy.
Beyond the classroom and the kitchen, Judy's vibrant spirit extended to her musical pursuits. A talented pianist, she found joy in playing handbells as an active member of the handbell choir at Our Savior Lutheran in Grand Ledge.
Her commitment to community extended even further as she became an integral part of refugee assistance programs, working tirelessly to help newcomers acclimate to American culture. In this reciprocal journey, Judy not only shared her wisdom but also learned invaluable lessons from the diverse tapestry of lives she touched.
Active in her church, Judy lived to teach and spread the gospel, leaving an enduring impact on the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Bob, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to making the world a better place.
Judy is survived by her brothers and sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services for Judy will be held at Our Savior Lutheran, 7910 W St Joseph Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917 on Friday December 29th. Visitation will take place from 10 to 11am. A memorial service will follow at 11 with a luncheon to follow.
