John William Dally

He was born June 30, 1941 to Jack and Alice (VanPembrook) Dally in Lansing, MI.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Alice (VanPembrook) Dally; his sisters, Dorothy (Dally) Gafner and Pat (Dally)Barnhart, and sons, Brian K. Dally and James (Jim) W. Dally.

John served in the Air Force which led to his membership with The American Legion. After his service in the Air Force, he started his career at General Motors where he was a welder for 41 years.

In John's free time, he loved to spend it outside either fishing or golfing. He also enjoyed bowling with friends and listening to music. John was very proud of his Irish heritage. He especially loved the color green.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter; Cristina (Gregg) Neff; grandson, James Neff; and granddaughters, Megan and Cindy Dally.\

A celebration of life for John will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at The American Legion, 2949 S. Waverly Road, Lansing, MI 48911 starting at 2 pm.
