Jimmy was born on January 31st, 1953 to parents James (Jake) Gorman and Lulu Winters Gorman. He was married to Joycelyn Humes in Lansing, they were married August 30th, 1985.
Jimmy attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City. He then worked for Wyeth Laboratories from 1987 to 1995. After that, he worked for the Pepsi Cola Company for many years, from 1998 to 2013. Some of Jimmy’s hobbies included fishing, he loved to cook, and work on old cars. He was an avid sports fan, and he even played football in high school. Most of all, Jimmy loved spending time with his family, especially his Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Joycelyn Humes, and parents James (Jake) Gorman and Lulu Winters Gorman.
Jimmy is survived by his many family members. His children Travis Humes, Alfonso Robinson, and Chantone (Angel) Humes. His Siblings Marge West (Calvin) of Hayit MO, James (Dorine) Gorman of St. Louis MO, Joe (Mary Ann) Gorman or Steele MO, Arthur (Rita) Gorman of Caruthersville MO, Samuel (Dorthy Gorman of Marietta GA, Kenneth Gorman of Hayti MO, Johnnie Gorman of Springfield IL, Patricia Gorman of Springfield IL, James Jr. Gorman of Hayti MO, Leola Wilburn of Hayti MO, Frances (Johnnie) Collier of Orlando FL, and Faye (Darnail) Stringfellow of Hayti MO. Grandchildren Taytana Smith, and Diante’ Smith. As well as Great-grandchildren Keyshawn Foreman, Za’yna Foreman, Khalil Smith, and Kyair Smith.
