Hilary graduated from Saint Mary’s High School in Westphalia, served in the U.S. Army & Reserve Unit, then graduated from Lansing Business College. He worked in the banking industry for 35+ years (Capital Savings & Loan) where he was highly respected. His legacy was one of mentoring and his willingness to help family, friends and others. He impacted so many lives by helping them select the perfect home for their families. Hilary enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards and socializing. He loved to attend his grandchildren’s activities. He will be remembered for his fun-loving personality and quick witt. He enjoyed watching sporting events and even claimed to have made the most consecutive free throws and having had the highest batting average in high school (not verified, but reflects his sense of humor). He brought a smile to everyone that he came into contact with.
