Helen E. Keeney, born January 22, 1946 in Traverse City, the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Keehne, passed away on December 24, 2016 at the age of 70.She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Harry L. Keehne and James J. Keehne, and both her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Surviving are husband; David Keeney, step-daughter; Kathleen Keeney; granddaughters, Caroline and Kirstin Collins; sister, Marianne Howard; sister-in-laws; Isabelle Keehne and Ruth Keehne. She also leaves behind 3 nephews, 2 nieces and their families.
A visitation for Helen will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 with visitation one hour prior. All will take place at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Helen to National Alzheimer’s Association or Muscular Dystrophy Association’s “Fill the Boot” campaign.
