Ginger E. Rennaker, 71, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Gladwin, Michigan. Born January 3, 1947 in Washington, DC, Ginger moved to Michigan where she met the love of her life, James Rennaker (111-11). Together, the two would attend High School Prom before spending 53 years happily married. She loved to golf and even invented a new kind of golf: “chucker golf”. She enjoyed her pet kitten, birds, and being outdoors. Her grandkids were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Meyer; mother, Margaret Sharpe; step-mother, Zelma Meyer; father-in-law, Ralph Rennaker; mother-in-law, Betty Rennaker; sister-in-law, Delores Ames, brother-in-law, Steve Rennaker.
Ginger will be lovingly remembered by her husband, James Rennaker; her daughter, Shannon (Steven) Fries; her grandchildren, Garrett (Anika) Grochulski and Elizabeth Fries; her brothers-in-law, Ralph (Bonnie) and Donald (Cheri) Rennaker; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Perhne and Joanne Rennaker.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12pm until 3pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Ginger’s name.
