Gertrude Mable Woodbury

Gertrude was born on March 2, 1932, in Williamston, Michigan, to the late Donald and Gertrude (Hart) McClure. She was a very talented lady, who enjoyed both crocheting and sewing. She was skilled in many areas and she loved to fix anything that needed fixing. In her earlier years, Gertrude worked at Michigan State University as a cook for the students in the sorority houses. When her children were younger, she loved to take them camping. Gertrude was very generous and was always to help someone in need, no matter what. Gertrude was a loving mother to nine children. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Gertrude is survived by her children Lonnie (Rose), Mark (Pam), Calvin, Kennith, Jeffrey, Lucinda and Tracy; 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and brother Edgar David McClure.

Gertrude is preceded in death by her late husband, Morris Woodbury, and her children Larry and Michael.

A graveside service will be held for Gertrude at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at 12:00 pm on Monday, December 19, 2022.
