Gerald Edward Haskins

Age 82, died June 21, 2010. Born October 9, 1927 in Alma, MI.

Mr. Haskins served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for 32 years at Oldsmobile in skilled trades. Gerald was an avid bowler, and enjoyed playing the organ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Myrna Haskins; 2 sisters, Maxine and Virginia. Surviving are his wife, Nora; step-daughter, Darla Oakley; 2 sons, Stacy (Zong) Haskins and Shawn Haskins; 2 grandchildren, Ben and Jon (Terra) Dalton; 2 great grandchildren, Kendal & Jackson. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25, 2010 at 12 Noon at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Lansing City Rescue Mission, 607 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, 48912 or to Volunteers of America, 430 N. Larch St., Lansing 48912 in memory of Mr. Haskins.
