Esther Louise Hillman

Esther Louise Hillman, 85, of Lansing, Michigan passed away January 12, 2014. Esther was born February 16, 1928 in Lansing, Michigan to George and Ruth (Miller) Hillman. She graduated from Eastern High School and worked for Wohlert Corporation for 44 ½ years as a bookkeeper and secretary. She retired in 1990. Esther loved to read and work all kinds of puzzles, word and picture. She was also a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Dell F. Sherman; sister, Catherine; brothers, Harry L. Hillman and George, and his wife, Ruth, Hillman; three nephews: Harry John, Edward, and Steven; great-niece, Beth Ann; and sister-in-law, Barbara Hillman. Surviving to cherish her memory are nieces: Mary B. Frazier (Allan Tarbet), Linda (Jerry) Saunders, Dianne Mollitor, Terri Taylor-Paine; nephews Chris Hillman and Roger Hillman (Kristen); great- and great-great nieces and nephews; cousins; her step-sister and family; and her dear friends.
