Ernest G Cummings

Born February 8, 1931, in Lansing, to Harold & Vedah Cummings, Ernie died peacefully September 26, 2011 surrounded by his wife, sisters, and many nieces and nephews. He worked for General Motors as a cost analyst for 38 years. He contributed to community organizations, enjoyed playing golf, gardening and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers: Harold, Howard, Leonard, Robert, Frank, and Milton. Surviving are his wife, Patricia, two sisters, Edna Hjertos and Dorothy Foster, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church, 510 N. Ottawa St., Lansing. Contributions can be made to Greater Lansing Food Bank, P.O.
