Late with this , but still wanted to share  some memories of Eric.  Been friends since high school, always wild and crazy, and that didn't mellow much with age.  You never knew what personality would show up for our date or get together.  He taught me how to just have  fun in the moment and don't take  life too seriously.  I would ask him questions about him and his lifestyle and he always would come back with a "are you writing a book?"  I will miss his spirit and hope he RIP!

It has been many years since I have seen Eric and was  saddened to hear of his passing.  Back in the 1960's he was a great friend and always the wild child!  Never a dull moment.  That is how I will remember him.  REST  IN  PEACE my friend.

Eric was a good friend from grade school.  He was a member of our high school gang called the Fearsome Five. He was always ready to  participate in any adventure , some questionable ! He had 2 nicknames one was "The EEL" and the other was "MAKO" which referred to a alledged  shark attack. This was used to impress people, especially at parties.
Eric loved all things mechanical. He always had some repair project going. My favorite story is as follows:
 The last several years he lived in a cabin in the woods near Dobie Lake. Since there were few people nearby he kept his door open to the outside;one time he woke up in bed with a squirrel as a bed partner. They both enjoyed each other's company.

He will be missed by many.. I knew him from Ingham County medical care facility such a sweet man...R.I.P Eric

A lot of great memories with Eric he was part of our fearsome five.  One of the fondest memories was our senior trip to Florida in Dudley's Volkswagon.  Eric was a good friend in high school and I wish we could have done more together after graduation.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Eric and his family.  

Eric was a great classmate, alot of fun. He will be missed.
