Born in Bangor, Maine she moved to Lansing, MI in 1965, although she remained a lifelong Mainer in her heart, who always loved Maine and Maine seafood.
She was a member of The Church of the Resurrection for over 50 years.
While we are certainly saddened by our loss, we also celebrate a full and happy life filled with social activities, travel, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always counted her blessings to be married for 63 years to her husband, the late “Ray” Daley, the love of her life.
She is survived by 3 sons, Joe (Tammy), Mike (Cathy) and Kevin (Terry); 7 grandchildren, Jeffery (Stacey), Matt (Jackie), Chris (Tyler), Michael (Katie), Tim (Lindsey), Patrick and Ryan; 7 great-grandchildren, Emma, Claire, Cameron, Chase, Elisabeth, Edward, Henry, and Layla Jane (deceased); as well as loving sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held for Eleanor on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM with a one-hour prior visitation, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eleanor's memory can be made to St. Vincent de Paul or The Salvation Army.
