Earnest Thomas

Shon was born October 8, 1977 in Lansing, MI to the union of Rev. Earnest and Min. JoAnn Thomas. He passed away October 12, 2010 in Henderson,, Nevada. Shon received his primary and secondary education in the public school system of Lansing, MI, graduating from Lansing Everett High School. Shon was united in holy matrimony to Genese Jones in 2004. The union was blessed with two daughters. He was currently employed at University Medical Center in Henderson, NV.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Genese; daughters, Gabrielle & Saniah; parents, Earnest & JoAnn Thomas; mohter-in-law, Glenda Jones; grandparents, Annie Thomas, Hannah Burton; sister, Neeka Thomas; brother, JaVon Thomas; nieces, Namiah Giles, Nevaeh Thomas; nephew, Naeshon Giles, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Shon was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willie B. Thomas and A.B. Dear, Sr.; and uncle, A.B. Dear, Jr.

Homegoing services will be 12:00 Noon Friday, October 22, at Galilee Baptist Church, 2511 Reo Rd., Lansing. Family hour will be from 11 to 12 Noon Friday at church.
