Dr. Donald L. Ward, 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 1, 2020. He was born August 15, 1943 to Leslie Milford and Berniece Evelyn (Hill) Ward in Omaha, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Evelyn; and wife, Joan Marie Ward. He is survived by 3 sons, Jim Ward, Douglas Ward, and Bob Ward; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and brother, Bruce (Aki) Ward.
Donald was a Research Professor at Michigan State University for 29 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He also was a volunteer at Sparrow Hospital – Emergency Room for 40 years, and a member of Tri-County Bicycle Association for over 30 years. He published several educational books while at Michigan State University.
Services will be held in Bozeman, MT. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5301 W. Holt Rd., Holt, MI 48842, Phone: (517) 694-2435.
