Douglas Fred Lee

Visitation will be Friday, August 13, 2021 from 4-7p.m. at Tiffany’s Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw St. Lansing, MI 48917. A private graveside service will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Douglas was born in Durand, Michigan to Luther and Donna (Leadbitter) Lee on March 8, 1956. He married Deborah Wischmeyer on December 10, 1983. He worked for General Motors in Lansing for 31 years. Douglas passionately pursued interests in woodworking, landscaping, long car rides and home construction/remodeling.

Douglas is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Maurice Wischmeyer.

Douglas is survived by his wife of 37 years; children, Aimee and Nathan Cranson, Nicholas and Alexia Lee, Kristen and Todd Cooper, and Jennifer and Guillermo Lechuga; grandchildren Cameron, Blake, Bristol, Kaylee, and Brooklyn; mother-in-law, Bonnie Wischmeyer; and a large extended family.
