Doug was born on July 31, 1975 at Sparrow Hospital, the son of Thomas R. Decker and Jennifer Decker. He graduated Bath High School in 1993.
For many years, Doug was his father's caregiver, for which he took great pride in. Doug loved his dogs, Sadie and JoJo, and his cat, Cee-Cee, with all his heart. He also loved playing poker. Doug is known for his excellent sense of humor.
Doug is survived by his mother, Jennifer Decker; brother Tom (Michelle) Decker; nephew, Joey; niece, Nina; Grandpa Lee; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Doug is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Decker Jr.; sister, Mary Jo; grandparents, Tom and Joyce Decker; and grandmother, Patricia Lee.
A memorial service for Doug will be held 1 PM Friday, April 14, 2023 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W. Saginaw St., Lansing, MI with visitation an hour prior.
Memorial Contributions in Doug's honor may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.
