Doss Phillip Dunn Jr.

Phil retired from Oldsmobile after 30 years as a Plant Protection Officer and EMT. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Phil started a family in 1949 by marrying Joanne L. Hoy and having three children; Jane (Bernie) Finn, Brian (Barbara) Dunn and Greg (Tracy) Dunn. Phil would start a new family in 1971 with Kathy Bone Lambie and her two sons, Scott (Teresa) Lambie and Mark Lambie. Phil and Kathy then had a son, Kevin (Gina) Dunn; 11 grandchildren; Andy Dunn, Julie (Rob) Byers, Jenn (Jason) Palmer, Jacob Dunn, Aaron Dunn, Karlie Lambie, Kiplan Lambie, Scott Lambie, Ethan Dunn, Christian Dunn and Amy (Karen) Ramirez; four great grandchildren: Dani Byers, Drew Dunn, Addie Dunn and Calix Palmer; three sisters, Edith Eltzroth, Betty Rhea-Scott and Joanne (Anthony) Knight and brother Ted Dunn. Phil is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents, Phil was preceded in death by both his wives; an infant son Skippy Lee Dunn, and two sisters, Louise Whitford and Martha Kate Marrison.

Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing: Dec. 6, 2021 - visitation at 10:00 am, service at 11:00 am - attendees must wear masks. A private burial will follow immediately with military honors.
