On November 2nd, Dorothy passed peacefully from her earthly life of servitude to the Lord Jesus Christ on to her heavenly earned, wholly made body to dwell in her eternal heavenly home.
Dorothy was proud to serve the Lord faithfully as pastor’s wife, Awana director for the children’s ministry, music director and proud member of Maple Grove Baptist Church, Lansing , MI. She was also instrumental, beside her husband, Reverend Ralph Tingley and other co-founders, in the building of Christian Youth Camp ministry, Camp Michael, Imlay City, MI.
Dorothy loved her family beyond measure.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 70 years, Reverend Ralph L. Tingley.
Also survived by, son Bruce E. (Deborah) Tingley and daughter Sharon S. (Steven) Marsh. Grandchildren; Melissa A (Scott) Hardwicke, Amy M. (Albert) Hittle, Matthew A. (Teresa) Tingley, Rebekah S. Marsh and Elisabeth A. (Brett) Reitenbach. 12 Great-grandchildren. One brother Howard (Myrna) Jenkins. Dorothy is also survived by many in her family of Christ.
