Donna Mae Hale

Donna Hale was born on August 19, 1930. She passed away very unexpectedly but peacefully at home on February 16, 2017 at the age of 86. Donna was married to a wonderful husband, the late Howard Hale for 62 wonderful years. They have three beautiful children, son Keith Hale, daughter, Elaine Hilton (Norm Watters) daughter Wanda Arens (the late Vic Arens). She has one living brother, Donald Milton, She has 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Cecil Milton, brother Chuck Milton, and sister Doris Milton, also two grandchildren Lee Knowles Jr. and William Hilton.

She was a member of the order of Eastern Star for many years. Donna faithfully went to church every Sunday at Calvary Grace Assembly, with Pastor Rocky Wing.

Donna was very active in her community at Grandhaven Manor, she loved going to all the party’s and she specially loved going to bingo every Monday and Wednesday. She is going to be missed by many there.

She also looked forward to getting her hair and nails done every Friday. Donna also loved to go out to eat whenever she could.

Last but not least, we cannot forget about her Little Debbie Snacks, which she loved.

There will be visitation on Tuesday, February 21 & Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 2-8pm. Funeral service will be at noon on Thursday, February 23, 2017, all services to take place at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI.
