Charlotte - Dianne (Hunt) Gurk, age 73 of Charlotte, MI. joined her heavenly Father on December 15, 2021. Our beloved mom, grandmother, and sister was born on December 7, 1948 in Laingsburg, MI. to Manley and Elaine Hunt. She attended Lansing Community College (LCC) and was also a long time member of the Grace Bible Church of Lansing. Dianne worked as a librarian for many years at both LCC and the State of Michigan.
Dianne was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Roland Gurk. She is survived by her sisters: Emilee Hunt, and Faye (Gerald) Ruhno; her children: Christopher, Matthew, and Susan Gurk; former daughter-in laws: Bethany Shaffer and Christy Gurk; along with 3 grandchildren: Hunter, Seth, and Lily Gurk.
A Memorial Service for Dianne will be held on July 9 at 12:00 PM at Grace Bible Church, 1000 S Canal Rd, Lansing, MI. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Siren Eaton Shelter or Eaton Hospice.
