Diane Wright Moore of Lansing Mi age 68, breathed her last breath on this earth the morning of January 24, 2022. She passed peacefully in her home following years of persistent health problems. However, she soon found herself in the presence of a heavenly host, welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father where she heard, “Well done good and faithful servant.” We rejoice with Diane that her Savior has restored her with a new body where there is no more pain.
Diane was born on March 13, 1953 in Tucson, Arizona to Harold Wright Sr. and Beverly Wright. She grew up in Lansing, Michigan and graduated from Olivet Nazarene College in 1975 with a degree in social welfare. She took her degree and lived a life serving others. Whether it was in an official capacity, or living out her gifts in her everyday life, Diane loved to serve and care for others. Diane served her church, her district, and the mission field faithfully for many years and in many roles. Diane married Ron Moore in 2001, and began a new life of ministry as they served as pastors in the Lansing area. As Ron’s health began to fade, she cared for and served her husband lovingly and faithfully until he passed away on March 8, 2013. She missed him dearly and often spoke of him.
Diane is survived by her mother, Beverly Wright; her brother, Tom Wright; her stepchildren, Paul Moore and Judy Ewen whom she loved as her own; her son-in-law, Tom Ewen; her niece, Rebekah Drewiske; and husband Greg Drewiske, her nieces Courtney Wright, and Caitlyn Wright, her nephew Cody Wright, her granddaughters, Ava Ewen and Brea Ewen; her great-nephews, Isaac Drewiske, Wyatt Wright, Wallace Wright, and Lucas Wright; and her great-nieces, Julia Drewiske, Kara Drewiske, and Alivia Pulsen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Moore; father, Harold Wright Sr.; and brothers, Harold Wright Jr. and Stephen Wright.
