Diane Marie Gifford, 74, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2017. She was born January 14, 1943 to the late Herbert Roe and Willow Gardner in Flint, MI. She was a Master Gardner and loved nature. Nature was her "religion". She was an outdoors person who loved camping, horses and husky dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Hotie Gardner. She is survived by her husband, Richard; 2 sons, Russell E. (Jodene) Gifford and Todd A. (Jodi) Gifford; and 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Elizabeth, Brandon and Connor Gifford.

Funeral service is 11:00 AM Friday, March 3, 2017 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, with The Rev. David R. Pike of St. David's Episcopal Church officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 PM and Friday 10-11 AM at the funeral home with interment at Delta Hillside Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her memory to Capital Area Humane Society.
