Lansing – Dennis Carter, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was born on December 30, 1963 in Lansing, MI to Don and Janet Carter. Dennis was passionate about cooking, poker nights with his buddies and spending time with family and friends. His greatest joy in life was his son Donovan. Dennis will be remembered for his unwavering friendship to those closest to him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barb and his brother, Dan. Surviving to cherish his memory is his son, Donovan; father, Donald Carter; mother, Janet (Rose) Carter; siblings, David (Staci) Carter, Darren (Jami) Carter, Deanna (Jason) Houghton, sister-in-law Ann Carter; nieces and nephews, Danielle, Demi, Mackenzie, Darbi, JT, Dalton, Jayke, Caleb and Jared; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4-8 pm on Monday, February 1, at Tiffany Funeral Home 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. A gravesite funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 2 at 1 pm, St. Joseph Cemetery.
