Born September 13, 1954 to Harold and Lillian (Gilbreath) Rosier, Debra was a lifelong resident of Lansing. She attended Davenport University and earned an Associates of Communication in 1995. She was a retiree of General Motors and had been a Teacher’s Assistant with Capital Area Community Services Head Start since 2008.
Debra was a woman of strong faith and delighted in her relationship with Jesus. Prior to passing, she was a member of Crossroads Church of Lansing. She was a gifted gardener and built a beautiful sanctuary of flowers in her yard, season after season. She was a natural cook and loved to share her delicious homemade meals. More than anything, Debra loved her family. She cherished times spent telling stories, looking at pictures, and sharing laughs.
Debra is preceded in death by her parents and husband Alton Orlando Harmon Sr. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Rachelle (Wayne) Luiz-Harris; sons, Alton (Kelly) Harmon Jr., Alex (Danielle) Harmon; grandchildren, Rachel (Scott) Estis, Taylor Harris, Jake Harris, Ella Harris, Aubree Harris; and brothers, Warren Rosier and William Rosier.
The family will receive friends at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 pm.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 11:00 am at Kingdom Life Church, 4303 S. Martin Luther King Blvd Lansing.
