Dana O'Shesky

Dana Lyn O’Shesky, age 59 died October 22, 2016. She was born August 22, 1957 in Lansing, MI to John R. and Jeannette E. (Wildt) Rice. Dana was a resident of Bath for 32 years and graduated from DeWitt High School in 1976. She was employed with the State of Michigan for 40 years, spending the last 16 years of her employment with her BOI work family. Dana especially loved her family, she was all about family. She took pride in her house and yard to the extreme. She was a people person and loved “KROGERING”.

Dana was preceded death by her father. Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Thomas C. O’Shesky; 2 daughters, Danielle and Kali; one son, Ryan; mother, Jeannette Rice; 3 sisters, Debra (Mike) Reed, Roxane (Ron) Ver Planck and Kari (Paul) Ferri; her fur baby, Wylee; grand puppies, Cooper, Leeo and several special nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 815 Sparrow, Lansing, MI with The Rev. William R. Lugger officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. and 1 hour prior at the church. Interment will be at DeWitt Cemetery.
