Chris was dedicated, hardworking, and always put family first; He lit up a room with his smile and laughter; He loved to argue like an attorney no matter what the subject was; He was always the first one to offer help to anyone who needed it; He was reliable and often the glue that held everyone together; He had an uncanny ability to bring out the best in people and quickly inspire them; He loved motorcycles, fishing, hunting, sports, going for long walks at Woldumar or Fenner, and animals; He was a huge UofM fan to the disdain of his partner; He had a wonderful knack for solving problems and loved his job at General Motors.
He is survived by his partner, Amber Denney; his daughter, Luna; his mother, Melinda Ball; his mother, Missy Quarles; his siblings, Andrea Feuss (Charles), Sean Ball, Ashley Ball, Anthony Quarles (Ashly), Melinda Tetreau, Sharayah Ball, Desiree Ball (Brandon), Jay Ball Jr., Angel Rowe (Steven), Amandah Quarles (Adarius), DeVon Quarles, Branden Quarles, Tiffany Shelton, Timothy Belen (Katie), Clinton Thomas; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Chris was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Quarles Jr.; father, Jay Joe Ball; and grandfather, Steven Buchner.
A celebration of Chris's life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 4:00-8:00pm at The Graduate Hotel in East Lansing in the Shadows Ballroom, 133 Evergreen Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823. Valet parking available and self parking at nearby ramps. In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug your loved ones or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour, or a day.
