Charlie L. Lauterbach, 71, of East Lansing died on May 2, 2016 at home. Charlie was born on March 4, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY to Charles Edwin and Catherine (Murphy) Lauterbach. He was preceded in death by his father and his first wife, Barbara Lauterbach. Charlie leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Karen; children, Leslie, Regan, Scott, and Amy; his grandchildren, Ellie, Jillian, Molly, Patrick, Adam, David and Christopher. Charlie was a man who loved to socialize, read, play golf, do crossword puzzles and was a news fanatic. He especially enjoyed traveling and spending time exploring the United States. A time to celebrate Charlie’s life will be held later this summer and will be announced. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel.
