She married the love of her life, Eric Anderson, on April 9, 2003. She worked 17 years for the Lansing School District, retiring in 2016.
Cathy had a vibrant spirit and said what was on her mind, but shared so much joy with everyone around her. She loved to crochet, vacation in Mackinaw, spend time in nature, have family picnics and barbeques, play bingo and go to the casino. She was loved by everyone and was always willing to strike up a conversation with a stranger. Her kind and caring soul will be missed by many.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Eric Anderson; her son, Kenneth Bentley; her daughter, Kimberly Salas; her daughter, Kristin Zischke (William); and her son, Cory Anderson (Tricia); her grandchildren, Tahanna, Teegan, and Tadon Zischke, Kenneth and Jacob Bentley, and Trevor Crum; her Mother and Father-in-law, Jenny and Walter Carter; her siblings, Roger (Robin) Martin, Sandra Bilecki, Darryl Martin, and Robert Anderson; as well as, several nieces and nephews. Cathy was preceded in death by Richard and Barbara Martin, Larry Stoner, and Terry Anderson.
A Memorial Visitation for Cathy will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912.
