Bridget E. Johnston - Cullimore

B: January 21st 1973 D: September 5th 2018

At the age of 45, Bridget was taken far too soon from this earth. God has called her home for some greater purpose that someday we will understand. Bridget was born in Lansing, MI. to Reed and Kathleen Johnston. Bridget graduated Waverly as part of the Class of ’91. She then went on to marry her high school sweetheart and best friend Eric Cullimore on October 18th 1997 on Sweetest Day. They enjoyed almost 21 years of marriage as well as the 6 years they had dated prior to tying the knot. Bridget and Eric had only one child, a handsome son whom was named after her father, Reed W. Cullimore.

Bridget had a long career in banking and account management where she had used her talents at the MDMB Financial Services, where she met many new friends.

Bridget was involved extensively in Reed’s school as well as helping her husband in the Knights of Columbus where she strived to bring people together. Bridget enjoyed everyone at the school as well as within the Resurrection Community.

She was preceded in death by her father Reed Johnston. Surviving are her husband Eric H. Cullimore and their son Reed W. Cullimore as well as her mother, Kathleen K. Johnston, eldest sister Kay W. Johnston, brother Andrew (Jesse) Johnston, sister-in-law Sheena Lee, niece Georgia Drew Lee Johnston, nephew K. Randolph Johnston, newest to the family Honora Lise Johnston and various aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 11th 2018 at Gorsline Runciman, Lansing Chapel, 900 East Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. Immediate family will be viewing from 4-5 pm friends and family are welcome to join us from 5-8 pm. A rosary will be prayed for her at 8pm, led by the Knights of Columbus council 11099. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 12th at the Church of the Resurrection 1527 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912 at 11 am with fellowship following at Mercy Hall.
