Bonnie Marilyn Harrington

Lansing

Age 85, our loving mother and grandmother was called unexpectedly home to her

Lord on December 25, 2018. She was a true believer of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Born May 29, 1933 in Butternut, Michigan.

Surviving are her 3 children, Jeffery (Gail) Harrington, Marcia Harrington-Galey,

and Stewart (Stacey Riley) Harrington; 3 grandchildren, Gabriel (Elizabeth)

Harrington, Jordan Austin Harrington, and Carli Grace Galey; and many other

family members and friends.

Bonnie worked as a Dental Assistant in her youth for Dr. Doyle. She worked at

Melville Emblem making trophies for Sporting events. She worked at a

Commercial laundry facility. She also Nannied two wonderful boys that were

friends of our family. She found satisfaction in helping others. Attending Lansing

Community College, she took a Nurses Aid course, but never put it to use. Her

main focus was her family. She was a loving wife to her beloved Rex who

preceded her in death July 1, 2017. She was such a caring and loving person

spending time raising her 3 children. Her love of gardening and landscape was her

passion. She loved the Arts. She painted with oil. She was an avid reader; you

should see her Library! Photography was another talent. Her Grandson Gabe and

his wife Liz loved her photos of their wedding better than the hired photographer.

Her love of all genres of music was carried through to her children as well. She

had a huge heart for animals of all kinds.

We will ALWAYS carry your memory in our Hearts. Thank you for everything!

A special thank you to the staff of McLaren Hospital and Hospice. They were

wonderful to our Mother, taking great care of her needs and comfort.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Shepard of the Hills Church in Lansing may be

made.

Visitation will be 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. Saturday with Funeral Services being at 10:30

A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Shepherd of the Hills Church, 7740 W. St.

Joseph, Lansing, MI with Pastor Norman Burger officiating. Interment will be in

Riverdale Cemetery in Gratiot County, MI.
