Billy Mack Stepp, 57, was born on July 19, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan, to Arthur and Mamie (Tharp) Stepp. He loved sports and was an avid University of Michigan and Detroit Tigers fan. We was a dedicated employee who worked for Sparrow Health Systems for 23 years, both in Dimondale and in Lansing. He enjoyed attending concerts, and liked to listen to country music. He will be lovingly remembered as a kind, hardworking man. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Buxton); his daughter, Tiffany Stepp; and his sisters, Martha (Steve) Smith and Dorothy Shattock. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9 at 12:00pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. For those desiring, contributions may be made in Billy's honor to the family.
