Beverly Ann Bristol

She graduated from Midland High School in 1969 and Central Michigan University in 1972 with a Teaching Degree. Beverly worked for the State of Michigan in several different positions, the last being with the Treasury Department, retiring in 2008. Having gotten bored, she went to work for H&R Block from 2009 to 2016. Beverly and her life partner, Denor Hey, loved to travel both abroad and in the United States. Their favorite place to be was Fort Myers, Florida. They traveled many miles in the 1990’s with their Silky Terriers on the dog show circuit. “Sassy” won “Best in Show” honors twice.

Beverly was predeceased by her mother, Thelma (Bauder); father, Ervin Bristol, Jr.; and stepmother, Elizabeth (Caywood) Bristol. She was also predeceased by her life partner, Denor Hey; brother, Ervin (Dale) Bristol; and brother-in-law, Stanley Parsons. Surviving is her sister Georganna Parsons of Midland, MI; brother, Donald (Mary) Bristol of Lansing, MI; and special friend Gordon Dryer of Benzie, MI. Beverly is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews and other loving family members.

A committal service for Beverly will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 4444 W Grand River Ave, Lansing.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2022, date and time to be determined.
