Betty J. Todd

Our loving wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother went to be with her Lord May 9, 2012 at the age of 91. Betty was born May 7, 1921 in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Fred and Ruth Holnagel. She lived in Lansing her whole life as was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church since 1957 where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. She was also a member of TOPS. Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Lee; son-in-law, Bill Lee; and grandchildren, Karla, Michael and Kristina. Surviving to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 73 years, Roy E. Todd; daughters, Ruth Ann (Dennis) Chidress, Judi (Pete) Litwiller; sons, Ronald (Jannie) Todd, Fred (Jenny) Todd and Harry (Sue) Todd; brother, Fred Holnagel, Jr.; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Parker Memorial Baptist Church, 1902 E. Cavanaugh, Lansing, MI with the Rev. D.L. Green officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Parker Memorial Baptist Church in memory of Betty.
