Born to August and Anna Keltner on March 25, 1935. Passed with dignity at home, with her family by her side on December 22, 2012 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Neil of 55 years. Surviving are her two children Tammy Fischer and Timothy Jakeway; grandchildren, Robert and Brittany Fischer. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing with interment immediately following the service at Deepdale Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the chapel. Betty was a true southern belle that exuded charm and grace. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
