Barbara Large Glumm

Barbara L. (Large) Glumm was born on August 14, 1926 in Muskegon, Michigan the daughter of the late Kenneth Stults and Louise Prins, passed away October 14, 2016 at the age of 90. Barbara proudly worked with Dr. TI Bauer and Dr. Paul Zack and retired after 47 years in the medical field. She was a resident of Lansing since 1950. She had a passion for sewing, quilting and gardening. Barbara also enjoyed traveling and camping with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Robert Large in 1994 and Husband Harold Glumm in 2001; daughter, Jean (1955); daughter in-law, Joanne (2014); brothers, Warren and Harold Stults; and sister in-law Bette Stults. She will be remembered by her son, Bruce Large; granddaughter, Mindy Jo Large; great grandson, Blake William Large; step-daughter; Linda (Dave) Schepis; step-grandsons David (Kim) Schepis, Seth Waxman; step-granddaughter Rose Wagner; and 4 great step-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 20, 2016 at the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 549 E. Mt Hope Ave., Lansing, Michigan. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, Michigan and also a one hour prior at the Church. For those desiring, contributions can be made in Barbara's memory to the church. Interment to follow at Deepdale Memorial Park.
