Age 53, our loving wife and mother passed away unexpectedly July 20, 2018. Barbara was born March 4, 1965 in Ohio. Barbara was escrow closer at Mid-State Title Agency.

Surviving are her husband of 19 years, Dennis P. Carter; son, Donovan Carter; 3 sisters, Cindy (Jim) Shaull, Suzanne Cermelj, and Peggy (Dan) Tisdale; 2 brothers, Thomas (Mary) McGinty, and Michael (Christa) McGinty; parents-in-law, Don & Janet Carter; sister-in-law, Deanna (Jason) Houghton; 2 brothers-in-law, David (Staci) Carter, and Darren (Jamie) Carter; sister-in-law, Ann Carter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Owen & Barbara McGinty; brother, James McGinty, brother-in-law, Dan Carter.

Family will receive friends from 11-12 Noon Thursday with the Funeral Service at 12 Noon Thursday, July 26, 2018, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 815 Sparrow Ave., Lansing with Fr.
