Barbara was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing bingo. She was a cafeteria server for the Lansing School District. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a green thumb and loved spending her time gardening.
Barbara was survived by her children Wendy Jo Stone of Lansing, MI, Brian Lee Carroll of Pheonix, AZ, Jacklin Sue (Christopher) Nichols of Holt, MI and Lisa Marie (Mike Rosales) Davis of Lansing, MI; grandchildren Joseph (Monica) Platte, Nicholas Stone, Emilie Stone, Hillarie Stone, Chelsie Stone, Chad Ott, Nicole Davis and Brandon Cogswell; 20 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; siblings Betty Turpening, Ernie (Ruth) Timko and Steve Timko; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Jack Carroll; parents George and Rose (Vajko) Timko; siblings George Timko Jr. "Tim", John Timko, Joan Severance and Julia Perry; grandsons Rory Jack Cooke and Justin Charles Ott.
A funeral mass for Barbara will be held Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00AM with a visitation one hour prior at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 3815 S Cedar St. Lansing, MI 48910. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
