Age 83, was called home to her Lord on October 24, 2013. Born May 11, 1930 in Harrietta, MI. Arlene was a homemaker and raised 6 children. She worked at Michigan Bell and later worked at Sears. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She enjoyed gardening and golfing. Quoting her late husband, "She was a beautiful thoughtful person, a caring mother, and loving wife and friend".

Surviving are her 6 children, William Allen (Betty) Romsek, Sue Ann (Dave) May, Patricia K. (Kenneth) Knowlton, John Gerard (Marianne) Romsek, Amy T. (Blake) Davis, and Lisa Marie (Ed) Teall; 7 grandchildren, Peter Romsek, Anna Romsek, Joey Romsek, Rachael (Nick) Williams, Sarah Davis, Grace Teall, and Nathan Teall; many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Patricia (Arvid) Mannor and Lois (Robert) Chenoweth; and many other family members and friends. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, William C. in 1995; granddaughter, Marissa Romsek; and 5 brothers, Ray, Arnold, Leo, Merle, and Howard.

Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday and 10:00 to 11:00 A.m. Tuesday with the Funeral Liturgy 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 29th, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, with Rev. James Eisele of St. Michael Church officiating. Rite of committal St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association in memory of Arlene.
