Angelina A. Adams

Angelina A. Adams of Lansing, MI, died January 21, 2016 at the age of 87. Angelina made Lansing her home in 1947. Though an avid traveler (to casinos; especially in Vegas), Angelina’s true love would always be family. Angelina was preceded in death by her parents; Luigi and Carmela (Rosica) DiFilippo, her two brothers Carlo and Albert DiFilippo; two daughters Sharlene Rotman and Victoria Evans; as well as granddaughter Tabbitha Bartlett. Surviving to cherish the memory of Angelina are her daughters Rebecca Lohone and Valorie (Darryl) Scott; as well as her sister Louise Spindler and many nieces and nephews. Angelina’s joy – her grandchildren and great grandchildren, adored her; and her generous love to them will be forever remembered. Her friends at Quality Farm and Fleet will remember Angelina’s 25 years of service, but the other friends of Angelina’s – the animals she loved, will also miss the gal with the warm smile and generous heart. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Garden Prayer Chapel of Mount Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Rd., Lansing, MI. Officiating will be The Rev. Ross McElroy. The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Gorsline Runciman Lansing Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, MI. Contributions may be made in honor of Angelina to the Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 West Grand River Ave., Lansing, MI 48906.
