Passed away peacefully in Langley after a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. Sven was born in Naerum, Denmark and came to Vancouver in 1956. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Marilyn, and sadly missed by daughter Tanya (Shamus), 3 grandchildren, Tyerel, Ava and Kirsten, 2 stepchildren Treva Bell (Glen) and Keath Konings (Karen). 3 brothers Torben, Ib and Bo, nieces and nephews in Denmark. Sven was a building contractor for Petersen Construction for 35 years and a great fan of hockey and soccer. A memorial service will be held at Sharon United Church in Murrayville. Corner of 216 and 48th Ave (5 corners) on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in church hall. All are invited.
