Robert Joseph Carswell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father, husband, Papa, brother, uncle and friend on December 26, 2014 at Langley Memorial Hospital with family by his side. Bob leaves behind his Mother Josie, twin sister Beverly (Max); wife Zsuzsi (Kristi); his three children Bob (Jill), Dave (Becky), Sue and their mother Bonnie; five grandchildren Casey, Katie, Bobby, Deanna, Tammy; four great- grandchildren, Marcus, Mason, Jake, Max and nephews Bryan (Shannon), Scott (Sandra). Bob was born July 6, 1940 in Carman, MB. Bob started working for the CIBC in MB, then moved to Calgary AB in 1969 and began working for Stewart Auctions. In 1977, Bob started his lifelong career with Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers, and in 1979 he was transferred to the coast where Bob enjoyed working for 33 years until retirement. The family sincerely appreciates the staff of LMH for the care given to Dad. A Funeral Service will be held at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley on January 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Society. No flowers by request.
