Richard Penrod Dyble

After a courageous fight with cancer, our beloved father Richard (Dick) passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his family. Dick was born in Seattle, Washington and moved to Vancouver in his younger years. There he met and married his now deceased wife Gloria and they had three children. He enjoyed rock hounding with the Surrey Rockhound Club, being a part of the BC Hot Rod Association and putting his vintage Oldsmobile in our local car shows. Dick also loved to travel in his motor home with Gloria, their dog and two cats. Together they traveled many miles and met many friends along the way.

He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his son Richard and his wife Bev, his son James, daughter Michelle and her partner Oliver. Dick also leaves behind his sister Louise, his brother in law Bill, his wife Sharon and their 2 children. Dick was kind hearted, an amazing father and was well liked by those who knew him. He was truly loved by his family and will be deeply missed. His memories will live on in our hearts.

There will always be heart-ache

And often a silent tear

But always precious memories

Of the days when he was here

We hold him close within our hearts

And there he will remain

To walk with us

Throughout our lives

Until we meet again
