Maria "Angela" Skingsley

Angela was born on November 17, 1951, in Santa Cruz, Madeira, Portugal. Her life was a reflection of the beauty and strength of her roots—filled with warmth, family, and a spirit of resilience. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, David, with whom she shared a life of love, laughter, and true partnership. Even losing him so young, he was the love of her life.

Angela was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving children—Katie, Tony, and Chrissy—and her cherished grandson, David, who brought light and joy to her days. Her love for her family was endless, and she poured her heart into creating a home filled with comfort, care, and unwavering support. Her family, both immediate and extended, was the foundation of her world.

Angela will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle soul, and the quiet strength she carried through life’s challenges. She had an open heart, always ready to listen, help, and love—whether it was through a warm meal, a comforting word, or her simple presence.

Though glioblastoma took her from us too soon, it never dimmed her light. She met each day with courage, grace, and an enduring love for those around her.

Now reunited with her beloved David, Angela’s legacy of love, compassion, and strength lives on in all of us. We will carry her memory in our hearts forever until we meet her again.
